Why we don't participate in Black Friday...
A note from Jayne about Black Friday...
Each year that Black Friday rolls around, we are often asked if we will be participating in the cyber sales that everyone looks forward to in the lead up to Christmas. We wanted to let everyone know that we will not be taking part in Black Friday - and here’s why.
Medpac is a small, family-run business. We try to keep our prices as low as possible so everybody who needs one can afford a Medpac at all times of the year. Because of this, our profit margin just isn’t high enough to take part in large sales!
Also, we don’t believe that the nature of our product lends itself to big sales. We like to think that people buy a Medpac and use it for many years, and so there is no real need to offer big discounts to promote more spending!
Instead of Black Friday, we will be participating in Giving Tuesday. This means that on Tuesday 3rd Dec, we will donate 50p from every sale to one of the following charities:
So - if you have been holding out on purchasing a Medpac - please consider doing so on Tuesday when part of your order will contribute to one of our 4 chosen charities!
